50,000 children Helped. 4 Million more to go!
Why Go on a STM?
We do not go on STM to change the world, nor do we go to ‘convert the heathen,’ rather STM is about experiencing God in a new way, growing in your own personal faith and seeing how God is at work throughout the world. STM is about challenging yourself in cross-cultural ministry and developing a servant heart towards others.

When is the Rwanda STM?
The Bible Society will lead the next Rwanda STM in July 2009 and the trip will go for approximately 2 weeks. The exact dates of the trip depend largely on the availability of African Enterprise and will be confirmed in the next few weeks.

How much will it cost?
The exact cost of the trip will depend largely on the availability of airfares and will be confirmed closer to the date. You should budget for between $3500-$4000 for the trip, which  includes airfares, food, accommodation and transport in Rwanda. Additional cost include: Visa application, passport, immunizations and personal travel insurance.

Who can apply?
The Rwanda STM is open to anyone over the age of 16 and who has a heart for the Lord. If you’re looking to experience cross-cultural mission and deepen your relationship with God, then this is the trip for you.

What will we do?
The STM trip will be organized by African Enterprise and will involve school visits to see how the Literacy project is impacting school children, tour of the genocide museum/memorial, Bible Distribution, opportunities to share your Testimony/preach at schools, Churches, youth groups and many other ministry possibilities. On top of this you will experience the unique African culture and be inspired and challenged in your own faith.
